Broadway tries its best to make it accessible to everyone. These days it may seem like only a few select groups go to Broadway shows, but shows are actually actively trying to switch things up.
Hamilton is arguably the hottest show in Broadway history. It won the Pulitzer Prize, won11 Tonys and people are going crazy for the tickets, so much so that the producers had to bump up the price to stop scalpers.
Hamilton is also giving many away to high school students and has increased their $10 ticket lotteries. They're trying to make their show as accessible as possible to the general public, and now Bryant Park is doing just that.
Each Thursday starting at 12:30 p.m. from July 7th to August 11th you will have a chance to experience some of Broadways hottest shows, all for free in Bryant Park.
Unfortunately, Hamilton is not part of the incredible lineup but that shouldn't deter you from catching the magic that is Broadway.
But! You could catch the show for free this October on PBS!
Check out the entire lineup that will make you want to head to Broadway and find your new favorite musical.
