Updated October 19, 2026. Spoiled Media LLC operates spoiled NYC. This policy describes how Spoiled Media LLC (we, us, or our) handles information from this website and messages you send us.

Inquiries

You can contact us or send a contributor pitch by email. We receive your email address, message, any attachments, and other details you choose to share, such as your name, company, budget, timing, portfolio, pitch title, neighborhood, or website.

When a website inquiry form is available, it collects the fields and optional details shown on that form. We store the inquiry and the version of the notice you saw. We record the page and referrer, if supplied, and technical details such as your IP address and browser to prevent abuse.

We use this information to review your message or pitch, handle your inquiry, notify our staff, and reply to you. Website forms may also send a receipt. Sending a message or pitch does not add you to a newsletter. Portfolio links and advertising budget ranges are optional.

Newsletter signup is paused. If you previously signed up, we store your email address, signup placement and page, and the version and wording of the newsletter consent notice. Our email service records when it receives the request and when you confirm. You become a subscriber only after you confirm your email. Newsletter consent is separate from sending an inquiry.

We use confirmed subscriptions to send the spoiled NYC newsletter and a welcome email when newsletter services are available. A newsletter unsubscribe stops mail for that newsletter; bounce and complaint suppression can apply across our email service. We retain subscription and delivery records to honor your choices and handle delivery problems.

Service providers and abuse prevention

Cloudflare Turnstile verifies website form submissions when forms are enabled. Our hosting, inquiry, and email service providers process information needed to operate these services. Email delivery records can include delivery, bounce, and complaint events. Inquiry receipts do not use marketing tracking.

Site analytics

The site uses Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and PostHog through Google Tag Manager to understand site visits and how readers use the site. These services may process browser, device, network, page, referrer, and interaction information. Google Analytics and Meta Pixel may use cookies or similar technology.

PostHog is configured to use cookieless analytics, avoid creating person profiles, and respect your browser's Do Not Track setting.

The site also includes Google AdSense code, which may contact Google even when no ads are displayed. We do not ask you for demographic information in our inquiry or newsletter forms. You can manage cookies in your browser.

Your choices and contact

You can use the unsubscribe link in newsletter emails. To ask about your information, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy question, email info@spoiledmedia.com. We may retain records needed to honor your choices, prevent abuse, or meet legal requirements.
