Did you miss Afropunk this summer?

Wait for it, we bet you're gonna be ecstatic about what’s happening in Harlem later this month.

Afropunk: The Takeover will be hosted in Harlem, New York City from February 21st to the 25th.

According to TimeOut, the festival will have nine events over five days amongst several venues in Harlem to celebrate Black History Month.

We've mentioned the takeover earlier, but now we're psyched about the lineup of events announced for this year.

Along with panel discussions, live musical performances, film screenings, and comedy shows, there will also be a tribute at the historic Apollo Theater.

“Unapologetically Black: The African-American Songbook Remixed,” will be the theater's tribute to black protest music.

Jill Scott, Bilal, Toshi Reagon and others will be special guests at the film on February 25th at 7:30pm. You can catch some tickets here before they sell out, as Afropunk tends to do.

More details about the festival can be found here as well.

We hope you guys can make it, and keep enjoying Black History Month!
