Friday, June 15th

Brew at the Zoo (Bronx Zoo, 6 PM)

Safari out! It’s getting wild at Bronx Zoo.

Brew at the Zoo is coming back this Friday, and there will be grizzly bears, giraffes, lemurs, sea lions and other wildlife animals on exhibit.

Unlimited tasty samples of over 100 different varieties of wine and beer and delicious bites at their zoo cafes. Throughout the evening, dance along with the live band, test your animal IQ, retro game room, and so much more. Enjoy your lovely Friday night with animals and brews.

Interested in the history of American spirits?

This weekend, Green-Wood Landmark is collaborating with King County Distillery to delve into the history of distilling in Brooklyn. This event will kick off with a trolley tour of the cemetery with whiskey connections, including one and only casualty of the Brooklyn Whiskey Wars in the late 1860s and 1870s.

For the real die hard there is also the opportunity to how the first-hand made whiskey is made and taste four different varieties of it.
