New Italian Film Festival 2019 (165 W 65th St, Manhattan @ 3:30 PM)

The Open Roads: New Italian Cinema 2019 at the Lincoln Center is honoring the art of modern italian cinema and all of its influences. The festival, celebrates upcoming film makers as well as veterans, is promising a vast array of films ranging from comedy to drama to documentaries. The films Dafne, Twin Flower and Acordi? have showtimes throughout the day, ensuring there’s a movie that’s exactly what you’re in the mood for.

Lot 45, an event space popular for its low key vibe, patio seating and French Algerian cuisine., is hosting IAMNOBODI. The night will include set lists of classic soul and r&b, hip-hop hits and a live performance from iamnobodi, coming out all the way from Berlin. It’s the perfect opportunity to let lose with a couple of pals on the dancefloor, in the outdoor space or at the bar.

Pajama Art Party (229 Bruckner Blvd, Bronx @ 7 PM)

Established in 2014, the Fantasy In Color company has served as a hotspot for artists of many art disciplines in the NYC area. Their art parties, taking place on a weekly basis and under different themes, celebrate varying art styles in an intimate and positive setting. One of their latest events welcomes artists of all training backgrounds to display their work for sale, poets to perform their pieces and live artists to work in front of curious guests all while dressed in pajamas. That means if you wish to attend the diverse celebration of art, you too will have to wear your best pjs! There will be music, dancing, alcohol and probably a ton of laughter.

Bacon and Beer are awesome, especially paired! It’s pretty much that simple. You can enjoy the two beloved B’s during the debut of this unique and decadent celebration at the Brooklyn Mirage, providing guests with unlimited tasting of nearly 100 brews from local breweries. You can expect to see bacon prepared in ways you love and have yet to imagine from over 50 local restaurants working hard to create new and exciting bacon concoctions like bacon sliders and bacon mac. There will also be games, giveaways and music in the venue space, an open air oasis serving as a sanctuary for your deepest darkest bacon fantasies!

A reported 175 artisans and creatives will be part of the CraftNew York’s 2019 event, one of the largest offering handmade goodies. Suedefest 2019: Rum And Caribbean Food (5610 Clarendon Rd, Brooklyn @ 3 PM)

The sun in the city is no match for the Caribbean, but there’s a party trying it’s best to bring the island vibes. The Suedefest 2019 is an explosion of flavors, sounds, and rum. Trusted names in music like DJ Envy, Safaree, Angela Yee and Yandy Smith are among some involved. Pop out to enjoy the musical set including soca and hip-hop, the delicious food from 10 different stations, the sunset and the rum tastings.

Scandinavian Music Festival 2019 (Fort Tryon Park, Manhattan @ 2 PM)

Returning for the 15th year, the Scandinavian Music Festival in Fort Tryon Park is bringing you another free concert. The program features performances from The Scandia Brass Quintet, including popular music from traditional and contemporary arrangements that represent all five Scandinavian countries.
