What's with all the Whole Foods hype, though? Are the crazy prices even worth it for the same cool stuff you can find at Trader Joe's?
We don't think so.
So when we found out that according to Curbed NY, a new huge store is opening up in Manhattan West, we pretty much came to the conclusion that we don't give a sh*t.
The new store will have groceries, dine-in, and take-out choices with “some of the most innovative, chef-inspired culinary and beverage options from countries around the world.”
Aka it'll just be another Whole Foods, but like, on steroids. Probz organic, free trade steroids, but still steroids.
The store is located in the 16-story tower at 10th Avenue and 31st Street, located right across from Related’s Hudson Yards megaproject.
And as if one new Whole Foods wasn't enough, they'll be adding another one in the Financial District. Have fun dodging the hordes of bougie hipsters downtown.
BTW, did you know there's a dude at the store that'll chop your veggies for you? If you can't even chop your own veg, should you even be shopping for groceries? Maybe stick with Seamless, friend.
Trust us, you can still get your gluten-free, paleo, vegan granola without paying triple for it. Seriously.
