So....what's up with the odd photos of people floating in your instagram feed?

Or things and people floating in your instagram feed? Wonder what that was all about? Well, we can tell you it’s not a new filter.

The bewitching photos are from a pop up, limited-time only exhibit called the “Hall of Magic” featured at the William Vale hotel.

The interactive installation lets visitors “cast their own spells,” by causing objects to move, books to play music and walking under a sky where your likeness is reflected in the constellations above.

Kinda like starring in your own wizard movie.

Which we have no problem with honestly. At least we don’t have a house cup to fight over.

According to TimeOut NY, the experience is to promote the second season of The Magicians on Syfy, which we heard is the more mature college doped version of Harry Potter.

It’s not a secret that we’re HP fans, so we may take a peek at the first season streaming on Netflix to jumpstart ourselves before WizardFest or any other HP themed establishment.

You know, just one episode to see if it’s good.

While the time period to buy reserved tickets has passed and sold out, this Saturday night, the Hall of Magic will be open all night long, from 10 a.m. on Saturday until 10 p.m. on Sunday. And then from 10 p.m. on Saturday through 10 a.m. on Sunday, with no reservations needed.

A perfect time slot for crafty activities, and you don’t need floo powder to pop into the hotel!

Ok, so we're still diehard HP fans, but this can’t be anything but fun for whichever magical universe you dabble into this year.
