Chef Grant Achatz and his team, the geniuses behind renowned Chicago cocktail bar The Aviary, are peddling a New York spin on some of their ultra unique dishes and drinks with the opening of The Aviary NYC!

Overlooking Central Park from 80 Columbus Circle at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, this upscale haunt will be offering some original NYC inspired creations like the "New York Sour Eh?" featuring rye, egg white, red wine, and spiced pear and the "Wake and Bake", a mix of rye, coffee- and orange-infused vermouth, and coffee liqueur.

One of their most exciting new additions, an epic three-part drink entitled "In the Rocks" and inspired by New York's infamous ball drop, will be served inside an actual ice sphere to be broken open at the table! Talk about Instagram-able moments!

Other offerings will include versions of popular Chicago menu items like a scaled up Bloody Mary, truffle-infused Ravioli, and mushroom-and-nori "Not Ramen".

The menu will also include Aviary spins on classic cocktails like margaritas and gin and tonics to please unsuspecting hotel guests who are in the mood for a more traditional beverage.

Whatever your pleasure, we're sure you won't regret giving it a taste. Cheers!
