Okay so we know that you're coming with us on our booze cruise this Friday, but what about the rest of Memorial Day weekend?

Let's just say we've got a couple of ideas...

In case you've been living under a rock, Governors Island opened early this year! May 3rd to be exact.

We've already given you a preview on all of the cool shit you can do this summer at the car-less oasis.

But hold onto your MetroCards folks, there's more...

"Whisperlodge," an immersive whispering spa, will be taking over one of the historic houses on Gov Island from Saturday, May 27th to Monday, May 29th. We know what you're thinking... WTF is a whispering spa?

If you aren't an ASMR fanatic, you may not know about the therapeutic experience that has been gaining popularity on Youtube. ASMR stands for autonomous sensory meridian response.

In layman's terms, it's the act of giving someone a "head orgasm" (figuratively) through gentle whispering, relaxing hand movements, or other soft sounds.

If you're already good on the head orgasms (lucky you), you can get your adrenaline pumping at Adventures at Governor's Island, opening this Saturday, May 27th.

The FlyWire Zip Line is just one of the featured attractions. Catch some dope views of the Statue of Liberty and downtown Manhattan as you zip line down 300 feet and hit speeds of up to 21 mph. The starting point is 35 feet off of the ground, making it a perfect experience for both newbie and experienced thrill seekers.

It's only $12 for a ride and $20 for two.

If you're afraid of heights, you can take a trip to Amazen' Maze, a 3,600 square foot competitive maze. Sharpen your navigation skills as you find your way to the exit. This one's a pretty cheap attraction at only $8 per adventurer.

Last but not least, test your grip strength with the Climbing Challenge. There are three 25 feet tall walls for you to ascend. Each climb is $6.

Whether you're looking for some relaxing rejuvenation or new heights to conquer this Memorial Day weekend, take a cruise down that ferry and enjoy all of the cool shit the upper NY bay has to offer!
