There's one day a year where we sort of like 7-Eleven... or we at least like the free slurpees the hand out on July 11th (or 7/11) each year.

Even though shopping at 7-Eleven is pretty much a sure bet you're not a true New Yorker (because true New Yorkers support our bodegas and delis), we're going to say you might want in on this deal.

Today and tomorrow only from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., 7-Eleven is hosting its second annual Bring Your Own Cup event in honor of their 50th birthday.

For $1.50, customers can fill one "cup-like container, which must fit upright through an in-store display with a 10-inch diameter hole.

Cups cannot be more than 9 inches wide and 11 inches tall and must be leak-proof, safe and sanitary. That means no trash cans or trash bags, kiddy pools or kitchen sinks," according to 7-Eleven.

However, don't think that simply because you can't start blowing up the kiddy pool to throw an epic slurpee wrestling match that you shouldn't participate in this rather epic day.

Instead, grab your favorite cup-like container, and head on over to your nearest 7-Eleven to fill up your cup with any combination of flavors.

Better yet? Throw some alcohol in the bottom before you head out for a boozy, frozen treat, all for $1.50.
