Do you love pizza as much as we love pizza, and do you want to get some of the city's best slices at only a dollar a piece– AND even feel good about doing it?

Then kick off your National Pizza Month with Slice Out Hunger's annual $1 Pizza night this October 4th at St. Anthony's Church on 155 Sullivan Street in Soho!

Over 50 vendors will be in attendance at this tasty gathering, and all proceeds will go to charities The Sylvia Center and City Harvest.

Excuse some cheesy puns, but sounds peppero-neat! Olive us are super pumped, even if our food babies probably won't leave mush-room in our jeans.

While this year's list of vendors has yet to be released, 2016 participants include high profile joints like Di Fara's, Joe's Pizza, and Neapolitan Express. But don't let your dietary restrictions put you off– even some vegan and gluten-free friendly joints like Two Boots and Ribalta have been in attendance.

$1 pizza tickets (as well as separate tickets for raffles, drinks, and desserts) will be available at the door, but if your hunger for saucy, doughy, goodness knows no bounds, you can even purchase an $100 dollar ViPizza ticket in advance here, which allows you and a friend to skip the lines and comes with 10 tickets.

If you can't make the event or are maybe just watching your waistline but still want to lend a hand, you can also just donate to the cause, and if you're uber-passionate about pizza and poverty, you can even sign up to volunteer or host your own dollar pizza event!

The party will also use super-cool Greenboxes in lieu of conventional plates, since they're more adept at holding multiple slices and make for easier sharing!

So mark your calendars, your stomach will certainly thank you– and so will your heart.
