When you live in New York City you have the opportunity to try a wide variety of things. You can get a vegan slice of pizza, a sushi-burrito and some strong, delicious coffee.

If there's one thing we're always down to try in the city it's new types of beer. You can try home-brews, craft beer and maybe even Ben & Jerry's beer.

And if there was any place to try a new beer, it's at a beer garden. Never been to one? Well, we got you covered, you poor thing.  After you're done with those spots you're gonna wanna head over to Queens for this brand spankin' new Beer Garden that's officially joining the ranks.

Rockaway Brewing Company is headed back to, well, Rockaway to open up their new beer garden that has their brews and local BBQ that will make this summer unforgettable.

The new location is at 415 Beach 72nd and Amstel, in Arverne. It will be open from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and Friday through Sunday it will open at 12 p.m. and close at 10 p.m.

The local brewing company's new location is different from their Long Island City spot. This beer garden is just minutes away from the beach and you'll love just chillin' and grillin' there all day long.

The BBQ will be provided by Goody's BBQ Chicken & Ribs, a staple of Arverne and a delicious BBQ spot that never disappoints.

It seems that everyone is getting into the beer garden game now. Brooklyn Brewery is planning on opening up one in 2017 in the Navy Yard. Not that we're complaining, of course.

Queens has a bit of everything for everyone. From classic diners, to some sweet spots it's got it all, and then some.

So, when the inevitable dog days come barking, you've got a new spot that will make those summer days something special.
