Since the dawn of time, great things always seem to come in pairs. From Ben and Jerry to Tom and Jerry, two has proven (time and time again) to definitely be better than one.
Well, you may wanna sit down for this one, because Pokéteria, New York City's biggest innovator of Japanese raw cuisine, has created a pairing you probably weren’t expecting, and the end result is glorious.
Sushi. Donuts.
Don’t feel bad for not thinking of putting the two together, because we didn’t either. Pokéteria has become an NYC cult classic, and chances are you heard about them when the internet went crazy about sushi burritos, and more recently, their signature Fisher's nachos (AKA sushi nachos).
Well, you may wanna sit down for this one, because Pokéteria, NYC’s biggest innovator of Japanese raw cuisine, has created a pairing you probably weren’t expecting, and the end result is glorious: Sushi. Donuts.
Well now they’re ready to break Instagram again with their sushi donuts. The midtown-based poké shop starts off by creating a “rice ring” stuffed with spicy tuna. They then top it with masago, tuna or salmon sashimi, avocado, and sesame.
