New York City is a city that loves to eat. We also love love, though we're statistically unlikely to walk down the matrimonial aisle.
So it's only fitting that in a city nicknamed after a fruit, where people flock to see a sculpture of the word love, we have some of the most romantic restaurants in the United States.
Just in time for Valentine's Day, OpenTable has released their annual list of the 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America, including four of NYC's culinary elite.
The list was created based off of over 5 million reviews between December 7th, 2014 and December 6th, 2015. They were then scored and sorted based on the percentage of qualifying reviews using "romantic" as a special feature.
