Central Italy was devastated by a severe 6.2 magnitude earthquake last week that caused more than 260 deaths and displaced thousands of people.

Italian restaurants here in New York City are doing their part by serving a dish called pasta all’amatriciana, created in the hardest-hit city of Amatrice. Made with guanciale (Roman bacon), Pecorino Romano cheese and onions in a tomato sauce, each dish will benefit earthquake relief through the Italian Red Cross.

Two restaurants have added it to their menus with a charitable component: At the West Village’s rustic da Tommy Osteria, $10 of its $17 price will be given to the Italian Red Cross for every order through the end of September. 14 Bedford St.

Fort Greene newcomer LaRina Pastificio & Vino makes its pasta in-house and adds braised red onions to the dish, which will be on the menu through the end of next week, with $1 from each order being matched by the restaurant to be donated to the Italian Red Cross. 387 Myrtle Ave.

All four locations of Tarallucci e Vino, which just opened in Nomad, will offer the dish ($21) on their modern Italian lunch and dinner menus through this week, with a portion of proceeds going to support the victims in Amatrice.

Its spaghetti al pomodoro has the distinction of being best in the city, so it’s a good bet Ribalta in Greenwich Village is doing the amatriciana version right, too. The dish will be available from now through the end of September and for every dish sold, the restaurant is donating $4 toward earthquake relief. 48 E. 12th St.

The tasting menu is usually the way to go at Lidia Bastianich’s Felidia in Midtown. But through the end of the year, get its chitarra all’amatriciana a la carte to benefit earthquake relief. 243 E. 58th St.
