Music festivals in New York City are mind-boggling insane. You never know who is going to show up and what is going to happen.
One festival that has reigned on top for many years is The Governors Ball. This years lineup was on another level but unfortunately the third day was rained out and that almost started riots in the East Village.
Thankfully, music festival season doesn't end when summer does this year. And now, there is a new festival from the people who brought you Gov Ball.
The Meadows Music Festival is the freshest music festival coming to Queens this October.
For two days at Citi Field, Governors Ball organizers are throwing down in epic fashion.
Now, we've recently talked about whether or not this festival was actually going to happen, but now we have confirmation, a lineup, and, well, we couldn't be more stoked.
Chance the Rapper, The Weeknd and Kygo are set to headline.
Oh, and Mr. West is also going to be in the building so to speak, and rightfully so after getting rained out during the final day of Gov Ball.
We have to wonder though, did he just hop on the phone with Mayor Bill de Blasio and say, "Look, fam. I won't throw a block party. How about you green light this festival instead?" Judging from the chaos a Kanye block party would have looked like at 2 a.m., it's not out of the realm of possibility.

Grimes, Mac Miller, The Temper Trap, and The 1975 are also set to play.
An awkward bump in the road for The Meadows Music Festival is that it takes place on the October 1st and 2nd, the same days as The Roots Picnic in Bryant Park.
Check out the full lineup right here, and get yourself stoked for what sounds like an unending summer of music festivals.
