Happy March, it's International Women's Month. 

Despite the cold, there's a lot to celebrate. From Armory week to food crawls through Brooklyn, here's your guide to braving the cold and shaking your social calendar up.

Try The French Onion Eggo Grilled Cheese at Clinton Hall

In honor of National Frozen Food Month in March, Clinton Hall and Kellogg's have teamed up for a collaboration that will go down in history as the ultimate comfort food creation - the French Onion Eggo Grilled Cheese! With house-made French onion soup, mozzarella, swiss & gruyere cheese and Eggo waffles toasted to crispy perfection, it's a meal you don't want to miss out.

Limited quantities will be available daily at all 5 Clinton Hall locations until March 31st.

FREEHOLD Hosts a Bourbon Street Bash on Fat Tuesday (45 South 3 @ 5 PM)

FREEHOLD ร‚ will celebrate Fat Tuesday with live music straight from New Orleans on March 5th. 

The night will also feature stilt walkers, fire breathers, a Cajun menu and more! Dinner service begins at 5 PM and the special performances start at 7 PM.

SPRING/BREAK Art Show returns to New York City with its 2019 show, 'FACT AND FICTION'.

The curators focused art fair returns to Armory Arts Week with 85+ exhibitions in a new quarters, the UN Plaza. 

Grab a ticket at the link above but also check out the collaboration with Time Square Immersive featuring four outdoor sculptures that blur reality and fantasy with delight and warning on the Broadway Plazas in Times Square.

Featuring the fact blurring large-scale installations by Noah Scalin, Michael Zelehoski, Devra Freelander + Gracelee Lawrence, and Icy And Sot.

The Notorious Brunch at Schimanski (54 N. 11th St @ 2 PM)

Schimanski in Williamsburg will host The Notorious Brunch to pay homage to the late great Biggie Smalls on the anniversary of his passing, Saturday, March 9th. ร‚ BIG BEN and MFUSCO will DJ, playing all of B.I.G.'s greatest hits.

Grand Bazaar NYC Vintage Pop-Up (100 W 77th Street @ 10 AM)

Head to Grand Bazaar NYC to browse the racks of everything old-that's-new again across all of the eras, like funky '70s faux fur and all the styles you love (and love to hate!) about the '80s and '90s. Mid century furniture, rugs, antiques, vinyl, collectible cameras, and more are ready and wanting to go home with you. Jewels, handbags, denim, accessories, posters, tees and all the vintage oddities you love to joyfully discover will be here, too.

Seated Four Day Brooklyn Food Crawl (Brooklyn)

In collaboration with 75 establishments across Brooklyn, those who sign up with Seated will receive an email which will feature a map of the restaurants participating in an epic restaurant crawl covering Williamsburg, Greenpoint, Bushwick, Park Slope, Cobble Hill, and Dumbo.

Whoever visits the most restaurants over the 4 day period will be entered for the chance to be rewarded with a $500 Amazon gift card or 2 Hamilton tickets.

The Bitch Seat is celebrating its 5th anniversary! In this interview-style, live talk show, host Lyssa Mandel (& co-host/boyfriend Phil Casale) invites guests to present poignant/painful creations from their adolescence on stage (poetry, drawings, songs, sketches, videos...Wicca boxes...) and follows with engaging questions that cut to the heart of how all our teenage pain is the same. And it's funny. Think of it as Judy Blume meets Dr. Phil. Raucous laughter and redemption ensue. Bar in the theater to chase down the pubescent demons.

I Am She Closing Reception (1698 Bergen St, Brooklyn @ 6 PM)

Stepping into motherhood encouraged Imani Shanklin Roberts to confront the identities that she holds true. After a year debatable of public art she returns with I Am She at Weeksville Heritage Center.

Her exhibition I Am She challenges viewers to embrace the full spectrum of the divine feminine by connecting to archetypal expressions of the Black Womxn in the 21st century.
