In case you haven't noticed, mashup desserts are all the rage right now in New York City.
But if there's one dessert that takes the figurative cake for being our favorite, it's the macaron.
The first macaronut flavor to launch will be strawberries and cream on March 20th, which coincides with National Macaroon Day.
The dessert holiday was invented by Francois Payard himself as a way to celebrate the delectable French food, while also allowing any other New York City bakery to donate to City Harvest for each and every macaron sold that very day.
Sooooo... wondering where to grab this deliciousness starting next Sunday? You're in luck. Paynard has several NYC locations.
Find out the one nearest to you right here and then be on the lookout for our review of the dessert next week.
It's bound to be pure gold. Oui oui!
