Free concert Alert!
Make sure you make it out to the Long Beach International Film Festival next Friday, August 3rd from 5 PM to sunset on the beachfront, at National Blvd in Long Beach!
You’ll be greeted by a variety of free performances at their Concert on the Beach, ranging from pop to rock to R&B, and including a slew of up-and-coming New York artists.
Space is limited, and tickets (free) are required for entry, be sure to RSVP here (under Shorts on the Beach) before you head out. The Festival recommends that you bring chairs, blankets or towels if you want to sit on the sand.
While you’re there, you may as well stop by one of the numerous film showings - it is a film festival, after all.
The festival as a whole kicks off on August 1st, with films showing consistently until August 4th. The festival offers a selection of biopics, documentaries, fictional films and more.
As if that weren’t enough, the festival also features Taste on the Beach, a food and drink tasting event also on August 3rd - the perfect treat after a concert, perhaps?
