Stank Rag’s Very Fun And Extremely Enjoyable House Party (200 Cookman Avenue, Asbury Park, NJ @ 5 PM)

Can you say FREAKY FRIDAY?! Get ready and kick off the season at the Jersey Shore for a magical night of mind-blowing events and psychedelic art experiences at the Cosmic Beach House at the Outpost. Including artwork by Richie Brown and Christine Mazur, prepare to step into another realm of Stank Rag. Join us in entering a world where “everything is wrong, but feels so right.”

From glitter to grime, this event will have you questioning what’s reality Friday night as you are welcomed into the surreal, and escape the real. We all need to do that once in a while, right?

National French Fry Day (105 E. 2nd St, East Village @ 12 PM)

Friday the 13th, widely considered as an extremely unlucky day is actually not so unlucky. Join FryGuys in celebrating National French Day with two hours of free fries with complimentary ketchup at their two locations. Come down to their East Village location and devour their signature hand-cut daily Idaho Russets from 12PM to 2PM.

Can’t make that, no worries. From 2PM to 4PM, visit their colorful new pop-up bar, that is at the Wyckoff Beer Garden. We think it’s safe to say we’ll call it either FRYday, or FRY-YAY!

NY Empire State Tattoo Expo (1335 Avenue of the Americas @ 4 PM)

The World’s Greatest Tattoo Art Festival returns to NYC this July at the Midtown Hilton Hotel. Meet and get tattooed by renowned tattoo artists, including Ink Master artists featured on TV, along with Burlesque performances and entertainment by contestants from America’s Got Talent.

There will be giveaways, tattoo contests, a chance to meet WWE Wrestler Enzo Amore and Riae, and obviously endless fun.

$1 of every ticket sold goes towards the “Camp Boggy Creek” charity, founded by actor Paul Newman, proceeds going to ill children. Not only are you in for a dope night, but you’ll also be contributing to a beneficial cause.

Lady and The Tramp - Tribeca Drive-In Movie & Dinner (185 Greenwich St. @ 5 PM)

Who doesn’t love a good old-fashioned drive-in movie? We’ve definitely had some nostalgia for it. Courtesy of the Tribeca Film Enterprises, Westfield World Trade Center on Oculus Plaza presents a screening of Lady and The Tramp.

This night offers an experience filled with live music, trivia, as well as a curated menu of food and beverages.

Food, kayak racing, kids activities, the City of Water Day will have a lit party for everyone looking for an adventure this weekend.

Bastille Day (60th St, Fifth Ave to Lexington Ave @ 12 PM)

What better way to celebrate the birth of the nation of France than being in that atmosphere and vibe of the French?

Hosted by FIAF (French Institute Alliance Francaise), French food, art, and live performances will all encompass the commemoration of the historic, brave storming of the Bastille, when the modern country of France became a nation.

They’ll even have a viewing of the World Cup Finals, as well as a champagne and jazz party, a French-styled market, street art, a “kids’ corner” for the little ones, and they’ll be giving out prizes for a chance to visit Paris and Martinique!
