Hamilton has been a national phenomenon for what feels like forever at this point. It reimagined the story of old, dead, white people and turned (some) American textbooks into karaoke fodder (carpool or otherwise), and a near-historic slaying of the Tony Awards.

It's pretty safe to say that at this point there's like no way you can't know Hamilton. Oh, but it's still expensive AF to get tickets. So, like any good New Yorker, we turn to the lottery.

If you thought your chances of winning the Hamilton lottery were slimmer than ever, you'd be wrong.

Because the lottery has doubled for front row tickets!

According to Time OutNY, it was announced that there will be twice as many Hamilton tickets up for grabs starting Tuesday, January 31st. Which is today.

So....what are you doing?!

The "front row ticket" detail wasn’t necessarily due to the show’s popularity, but rather as a deterrent to scalpers, or people who deliberately buy tickets to events to sell them at arbitrarily high prices to people for a profit.

Yeah, also known as a$$holes. Hamilton has, in the past, always tried to make their show viewable to everyone, including offering free performances.

Now 46 front-row seats are available and up for grabs instead of 21, like they wanted to do last yearAnd you know the rules—if you win, the ticket costs just $10.

The same rules still apply for the lottery however: You can enter once per show for up to two tickets, and if you win, you have 60 minutes to pay.

You can enter the lottery here. Good luck! Except scalpers, screw those guys. Of course, if you're looking for a surefire way to get free Hamilton tickets, see below.
