Flowers are a classic staple for sweet or romantic gifts, but it's refreshing to change it up a bit.
You may opt for Edible Arrangements for that fresh take on a beautiful bouquet. Let's face it: that delicious fruit-dipped-in-chocolate goodness is worth the hefty price.
But if you're looking for a cute, yummy gift that won't break the bank, these new doughnuts are the perfect option, according to TimeOut NY.
For Mother's Day, Doughnut Plant rolled out its newest creative treats designed by owner Mark Israel. "Doughflowers," the tastiest new doughy delights, come in a number of glazes, including strawberry, rose and Italian blood orange.
Mother's Day has passed, and you probably forgot to call your mom up to wish her a nice day. There's a 50/50 chance she'll be less angry about it if you hand her one of these doughflowers.
Thankfully, non-animal eaters and health nuts can't miss out on these pretty rose-shaped doughnuts. Last year, the shop released a selection of 100% vegan doughnuts to enjoy. Also, the shop only uses "the finest ingredients available" to bake their organic, hand-crafted doughnuts.
According to Doughnut Plant, "We never use eggs, preservatives or anything artificial, and our doughnuts contain no trans fat."
