Did you ever think you'd see the day when you could go camping in the heart of Manhattan?

Well, today's that day. For a humble $2,000/night you can stay on the roof the W Hotel in Midtown.

Of course, this is no ordinary hotel rooftop.

This suite is decked out for all of your 'glamping' (glam-camping) needs, from luxurious pillows and blankets, to a colorful terrace that's perfect for entertaining your camping squad.

This isn't the strangest overnight stay option we've seen. You can spend the night in a posh taxicab if you wanted - but it's definitely one of the most luxurious strange listings we've seen.

The cool $2,000/night price tag doesn't just give you access to the entire rooftop, but also includes a bottle of champagne, and access to the fire pit and yurt (for those who were as confused as we were, long story short, a yurt is a cozy tent).

You can book this rooftop terrace from now until November - which is probably for the best, because camping in NYC in the winter sounds like more frostbite than fun.

Of course, staying on a rooftop might not be the best option when we're in the midst of a heat wave, but it's definitely the best option for those New Yorkers who have always considered themselves too cozy for camping.

The multiple string lights and colorful throw pillows/blankets make this rooftop terrace look like something right out of a camping fairy tale.
