Aight, so it's known that pumpkin flavored season insanity is well underway

Really, as New Yorkers and perpetual hipsters, we are inclined to encourage everyone to look outside the box when it comes to seasonal fare but we must make exceptions.

On Wednesday, October 19th, Sushi Sushi will be giving out free pumpkin tempura mango rolls at their two Manhattan locations from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.

That's right. Pumpkin. Sushi.

The roll will stay on the menu throughout October if you can't make it tomorrow, so you won't be cursed with any pumpkin spice FOMO.

As reported by Gothamist, apparently pumpkin sushi is more than a seasonal trend but let's be real, after all the leftover pumpkin pie we have to consume post- Thanksgiving, we won't want to even see a pumpkin before next October.

Sushi Sushi's manager, Igor Ginsberg, also tells Gothamist that despite the sweet ingredients, they're not serving a dessert roll. It's more like a vegetarian/ vegan option.

"It's like a traditional roll, but there's no fish," says Ginsberg. "It's just like a spicy tuna roll, but with pumpkin and mango instead of tuna."

We hate to say it but we're totally on board.

There's a Sushi Sushi at 54 Tiemann Place in Harlem and at 125 MacDougal Street in the village.
