Drop the PSL! 6 Incredible Seasonal Drinks That Aren't From Starbucks!

It's only the beginning of October and we have already been BOMBARDED by everything pumpkin. Pumpkin spice coffee, pumpkin spice candles, pumpkin spice perfume, and the list goes on.

There is no denying that on a brisk fall morning the taste of perfectly spiced pumpkin really does the job.  But what else?

What else can we drink that warms us up that doesn't make us feel like everyone else in America? We're here to help.

We have searched near and far (all around New York City) and found some seasonal drinks that are just as delicious!

America, you don't have to run on Dunkin' and Starbucks isn't always the answer!

Seriously, listen up!

1. Maple Latte - Brooklyn Farmacy (513 Henry Street)

You'll be happy you found this drink! Made with pure maple syrup and blended to create the perfect taste of Fall in a cup.

And it gets even better... Brooklyn Farmacy offers dairy substitutes (soy & almond milk available upon request!)

2. Coconut Matcha Latte - Cha Cha Matcha (373 Broome Street)

Save this for a day when you just can't drink any more coffee.  Made using matcha powder and coconut milk, it's the perfect sweet you need to get through that afternoon meeting.

3. Dirty Chai - Cafe Jax (318 East 84th Street)

A Dirty Chai is the best of both worlds. It consists of a shot of espresso mixed with chai tea and your choice of steamed milk.  The chai puts a spicy twist on your standard cup o' joe! Cafe Jax does offer dairy free options too!

4. Hot Chocolate - City Bakery (3 West 18th Street)

We feel that this drink is a right of passage into New York City. The thickness and freshness will definitely warm you up these chilly streets.  Don't forget their homemade marshmallows!

5. Minty Mocha - Cafe Reggio (119 Macdougal Street)

If the holiday season were a flavor, we think it would be peppermint.

Cafe Reggio is an experience in itself with their decor.  It has the feel of an old library with walls of mirrors and lots of vintage pieces all around.  Their drink menu has so many options, and we think you should stay for brunch!

6. Chai Latte - A Little Taste (148 West 28th Street)

So just a regular Chai Latte... but look at that presentation?! A Little Taste has a hefty drink menu and lots of fun accessories to buy too!

Grab some friends and venture out this Fall! Make an afternoon out of cafe hopping!
