LOL REMEMBER WHEN IT WAS BEAUTIFUL FOR THE PAST COUPLE OF DAYS?!
This is why we can't have nice things, y'all.
New Yorkers woke up this morning to dreary, rainy skies, and a temperature forecast that made it impossible to decide what to wear (Is it going to be hot or cold today? The answer is yes).
Now to top it all off, a flood watch has been issued in New York from now until Friday afternoon.
According to the National Weather Service, one and a half to two inches of rain are expected to "exacerbate already swollen rivers and streams," (read the previous in a sexy voice for giggles).
Everyone remain calm—A flood watch is not a flood warning, so no need to start building the ark QUITE yet. Just get that wood ready and be prepared to be soaking wet.
Maybe this rain won't be so bad after all? Get a bottle of wine and have a night in with your sweetie (or get on those dating apps and invite over a new sweetie from phone world).
Here is the latest thinking on how much rain to expect. Flood watch in effect through tonight, and coastal flood advisory today and evening. pic.twitter.com/Uxk9Ou7DGK— NWS New York NY (@NWSNewYorkNY) April 6, 2017
