The Most Absolutely Epic Spots to Catch Those 4th of July Weekend Fireworks in NYC

It's finally summer, and we're fully ready to celebrate.

The Fourth of July is not only a time to be grateful for 'Murica,' it's also a hella superb way to kick off summer and enjoy all that the city has to offer.

It may seem that the best place to watch fireworks is a giant hillside back in your hometown, fireflies abuzz and little kids running around.

And while that's certainly charming, it can't quite beat all the epic views and celebrations that the city brings about for the Fourth.

There's tons of dope events and incredible rooftops where you can watch all the magic go down, as well as more low-key spot if you'd rather chill out on Independence Day.

Here's our roundup of the best spots to catch the fireworks this year in NYC.

spoiled NYC’s 4th of July Weekend Sunset Cruise

How does a vodka open bar courtesy of 50 Bleu Vodka, free beer and wine, passed h’ordeuvres, three hours of dancing, and breathtaking views courtesy of World Yacht’s absolute beaut, Duchess, sound for a 4th of July Party?

Pretty damn good, right? Join us for our July 4th Weekend Sunset Booze Cruise and this dream can become a reality.

It’s all going down Sunday, July 3rd, 6:30 p.m., at Pier 81, located at West 41st Street & the West Side Highway– come hell, high water, rain, or shine– and the party won’t stop until at least 9:30 p.m. That’s three, count ‘em three, hours of madness.

Seriously, what could be a better place to see the fireworks than a gorgeous yacht on the Hudson River-- while not paying an arm and a leg for all of the other waterfront events going down the day after? Get your Sunday Funday tickets right here!

South Street Seaport

South Street Seaport is essentially the perfect summer hangout - there's tons of outdoor events, amazing restaurants, and all the shopping you and your mother could ever dream of.

East River State Park

Big Fourth of July parties are great and all, but sometimes you just want to chill the f*ck out.

You'll be able to catch some stellar views of the fireworks, too.

Fourth of July Fireworks @ Brooklyn Grange

Barbecues, dance parties, rooftops...these are a few of our favorite things.

The best of summer activities culminate at the Brooklyn Grange's Fourth of July celebration. Attendees can enjoy scrumptious Southern comfort-food, a view of the Macy's fireworks display, and an epic dance party to follow.

Sounds pretty perfect to us.
