December is here, bring on the snow, latkes, and eggnog, and holiday cheer. 

As New York is filled with tourists and our calendars fill up with end-of-the-year deadlines make sure to take a minute to have a little fun and enjoy the best city in the world at the most wonderful time of the year.

December 3rd

Seaport District Holiday Party (Seaport District, Manhattan, NY @ 5 PM)

Warm up with some free hot chocolate and dancing as we prepare for the magical moment of the Seaport Christmas tree lighting.

Enjoy a variety of treats from local shops and eateries and watch at the entire district illuminates into a real Christmas miracle. Afterward, take a nice stroll along the East River and take in the Brooklyn Skyline.


December 8th

SantaCon NYC (Manhattan @ 12 PM)

This event is funny/jolly/scary/exciting/weird all at the same time which makes this perfect! The streets will be covered in Santas in every direction. Come party with every Santa Clause there! The event is free, but a $12 donation can be made for access to all the bars included. Definitely

As she raps, sings and dances her way into their hearts, an eccentric cast of characters each show Angelina a different dynamic of what it means to be Latina.

NYC Winter Lantern Festival (1000 Richmond Terr, Staten Island @ 5 PM)

The first ever NYC Winter Lantern Festival produced by New York Events & Entertainment and Haitian Culture lands in Staten Island this holiday season.

The event features seven acres of 40 LED installations that stretching up to 30 feet tall. The LED lanterns will be accompanied by live performances of traditional Chinese dances and art.

Kwanzaa Crawl (Brooklyn and Harlem, NY @ 12:30 PM)

Kwanzaa Crawl is a one-day event that brings people of the African diaspora together to support Black-owned businesses in their communities. Heading into their 3rd annual year, the crawl has hosted over 4,000 crawlers.

This year’s crawl brings together over 30 establishments in Brooklyn and Harlem in celebration of Kwanzaa and the diaspora.

New York Road Runners’ Annual Midnight Run on New Year’s Eve (Central Park, New York)

Looking to ditch the overcrowded nightlife scene and get a jump start on your New Year’s resolutions? Then lace up your sneakers and head over to Central Park for the New York Road Runners’ annual NYRR Midnight Run on New Year’s Eve.

The festivities begin at 10:00 p.m. with a pre-race dance party to get you warmed up. Then, join your fellow runners at the starting line to count down to the new year. When the clock strikes midnight, fireworks will light up the sky and the four-mile race will begin. Seriously, this a New Year’s Eve celebration you don’t want to miss.
