How do you get to Carnegie Hall? Winning a contest.
If you ask anyone who performs for a living what place they would absolutely kill to perform at, one place always comes up: the incredibly iconic Carnegie Hall.
The venue opened in 1891 and has seen the talents of The Beatles, Frank Sinatra and even Jay Z.
It's where the best of the best in the world belt out their heart, and it's the spot for unforgettable performances. Now, you can be a part of that elite group of performers who have graced the stage.
A new contest by Paramount called 'My Carnegie Moment' will let a few performers give it their all in one of the most famous venues in the world.
So, it looks like practice isn't the only way to get to Carnegie Hall.
The contest is part of the release of the new Meryl Streep film Florence Foster Jenkins. Streep plays the title character, a New York socialite who made it to to Carnegie Hall in an unorthodox way as well.
Florence Foster Jenkins loved the music world and arts but was never good at either so rather than owning up to the old joke, she bought her way on to the stage that has seen countless legends in the music world.

Now, Jenkins wasn't all that great at what she did but we're sure there is going to be some serious talent coming out of the woodwork.
