Convention season is beginning to pick up, and now that dates are being settled and festival set lists are being dropped, we're seriously excited about one in particular.
Even though it starts early, we think the booze is worth it.
That’s right, guys: there's going to be a BrunchCon coming to Brooklyn this year.
This comes to no surprise after Cuomo had officially allowed drinking before noon on Sundays to be legal.
Thanks Cuomo, we can forgive you momentarily.
According to AmNewYork, the convention will have samples from 50-plus brunch spots for you and you buddies to get a little buzzed on Sunday.
BrunchCon also promises an open bar of mimosas and Bloody Marys (duh!) and a market where you can buy brunch-related gear.

There will also be speed dating and a "hangover lounge," which is a dark room full of hair-of-the-dog cocktails and greasy food. You know, in case you have a very exciting morning or day prior.
The brunch-festival will be held on March 26 (which is a Sunday, because we can) in South Slope at Grand Prospect Hall.
Tickets are on sale now for $55 general admission and $90 for VIP access; the prices will increase to $60 for general admission tickets on Feb. 15.
So we definitely hope to see you there! Just um….don’t come hungover kay? It’s still the morning and a festival.
