If we asked you what the most aggravating aspect of Broadway is, you’d probably say its turn-offs have less to do with the catchy musical numbers or fun plots and more to do with throwing down that kind of cash.

With Netflix, Hulu and other streaming services offering reasonably-priced, accessible content why would you pay all that money to be entertained live? It’s so much easier to stay in bed with the remote at your fingertips.

But what if we told you that you don't have to spend tons of cash for that spine-tingling experience that only a live show can give you? Christmas has arrived early with a slew of Broadway performances for free.

No, we’re not just preaching another lottery. (But, hey, you could win… maybe.)

During Broadway Under the Stars at Columbus Circle, Time Warner sets the holiday mood as cast members from shows from the biggest Broadway hits coming together in song. ‘Tis the season to sample some spectacular acts for a fraction of the price—and by that, we mean nada.

There’s still a chance to catch the last three performances on Mondays at 5 p.m. (one is today!) so don’t miss out. Today, November 27, catch a sampling of Wicked. On December 4, sing along to tunes from Chicago, Waitress, and Anastasia. The series’ final installment is December 11, where you’ll hear numbers from Spongebob Squarepants, Once on This Island, and A Bronx Tale.

And here’s the best part: if the small preview leaves you wanting more, you can always head over to Broadway for the real thing!

Don’t worry about freezing from the sidelines because, unlike other performance series, this one is mercifully indoors. Plus, as an added bonus, you can always shop a little for the holidays at Time Warner Center when you're all music-ed out.
