Uber has basically been stepping up the delivery game, offering everything from puppies to people.

Now, they're permanently altering their game, offering their first app apart from their original on demand ride request app.

Uber has expanded with their launch of UberEATS, a food delivery application that allows you to order from over 100 of New York City's restaurants, such as Pies 'n' Thighs, Mighty Quinn's, Uma Temakeria and Burger Joint

In a press release, UberEATS General Manager, Michael Conti, stated, "New York is the ultimate foodie city and this expansion enables us to serve up more of the great food people want from the most popular restaurants in their neighborhood and beyond."

Apart from their traditional approach to a food delivery app, Uber is also offering some advances, including an offering of two or three dishes that can be delivered in less than 10 minutes.

This new feature will allow hungry app users to place an order for whatever the current Instant Delivery offering is, and have it delivered within 10 minutes.

At the time of writing, the offering for our area is a Mighty Quinn's Brisket Sandwich with Sweet Potato Casserole.

This Instant Delivery option will be offered during lunch hours on weekdays in Midtown, but we're hoping that this will expand as UberEats takes off.

UberEats will be available during normal restaurant business hours, between 8 a.m. and midnight, 7 days a week in Manhattan below 100th street.
