And, as we say every year like we're surprised, the summer has managed to fly by WAY too fast. Or for some of you LIRR or subway regulars, it has been the longest few months of your life and you just want to forget about it!

Whatever the case, one thing we can all agree on is that the endless array of NYC concerts in the past few months has been incredibly good.  

Luckily, New York will continue with it's always eclectic music lineup for this September, ranging from R&B, to classic rock and Indie folk.

Hopefully these will help us wind down from the Summer with ease. 

Here are some suggestions for you to look out for!

1. Eric Clapton @ Madison Square Garden (September 7th & 8th)

English rock and blues guitarist, and three-time Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee; Eric Clapton is nearing the end of his 2017 tour. Rumor has it, this will likely be the musician's final tour and emotional goodbye to his fans. And what better way to do so than with back-to-back performances at the Garden?

2. Bryson Tiller @ Radio City Music Hall (September 8th & 9th)

3. Young The Giant @ Rumsey Playfield– Summerstage (September 13th)

4. Patti Smith @ Rumsey Playfield– Summerstage (September 14th) 

Fortunately for us, musician and writer Patti Smith will be making multiple appearances through public performances this September. While she will be playing at the Summer Stage on September 14th, she'll also be taking a major part in the 2017 Brooklyn Book Festival, that same week. Get your tickets before they sell out! 


5. Paul McCartney @ Madison Square Garden & Barclays Center (various dates)

Paul McCartney's "One on One" 2017 tour will have multiple performances in NY this September. Beginning with MSG on the 15th and 17th, ending with Barclays Center, Brooklyn, on the 19th and 21st. Tickets on sale now!


6. The Meadows @ Citi Field– Queens (September 15th-17th)
