We've got events for all y'all Halloween enthusiasts who simply can't wait 30 more days (same), foodie events for the Vegans among us (love y'all!), and even some lit vintage sales with local artists and celebs.

Friday, September 29th

1. East Village Zombie Crawl 


We know you're as obsessed with Michael Jackson's "Thriller" as we are. Want to show off your dancin' skills to your friends this weekend? Then get your haunted booty over to the East Village to learn the official dance, dance down the streets with your new buds, and snag some killer merch before grabbing a beer at the pub. 

Tickets are now just $37.50 and zombie costumes are encouraged! 

2. Oktoberfest NYC at Watermark Bar


Are you hype for your beer fests this weekend? Why not stop by Watermark for authentic German brews and the perfect opportunity to finally buy one of those adorable boot-shaped mugs for your mom because she'd probably love that kind of thing.

3. Boo at the Zoo 


Ready to get your fix of adorable (and sometimes creepy) animals and get your drink on while simultaneously chillin' on a hayride at the Bronx Zoo? Then Boo at the Zoo is for you! Fun for all ages, tickets range from $26.95 for children to $36.95 for adults 13 and over. Take the kids to a Candy Trail, enjoy a bird "meet and greet," or get into some seasonal fare with new beers on tap at Bootoberfest.

4. NYC Craft Coffee Festival 


Twenty specialty roasters and unique coffee flavors to taste test and live music? Would we really expect anything less from Williamsburg?

You owe it to your coffee-lovin' self to get yourself down to the third annual NYC Craft Coffee Festival for a warm and cozy Saturday with groovin' tunes and even groovier sips of freshly brewed flavor. Choose from one of two music sessions featuring artists Arin Maya and Olivia Castriota and Band for a super exclusive event.

5. Tavi Gevinson x Housing Works Tag Sale 

Youngster and hot-off-the-block fashion blogger Tavi Gevinson is teaming up with Housing Works Thrift Shops to sell you all her cool stuff! Get yourself to 300 Ashland Pl in Brooklyn and check out her merch while also contributing donations to fight to end HIV and homelessness through fashion.

6. The Medieval Festival at Fort Tryon Park

The Medieval Festival transforms Tryon Park into an epic landscape of knights, jousting matches, jugglers, and more for absolutely free admission and access to awesome food and drink vendors. Let your inner nerd lose on this event of epic proportions! 

7. Brooklyn Chile Pepper Festival 


Ready to sweat it out while munchin' on some choice peppers this weekend?! Get yourself right on down to the 25th Annual Chile Pep Fest at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and set your lil' taste buds on fire with some yummy artisanal food, peppers, hot sauces, and more! 

Then take it down a notch and listen to some chill bands like Battle of Santiago, Lost Bayou, Ramblers, and so, so much more.

8. 1st Annual New York Vegan Food and Drink Festival


If you've got that one Vegan buddy who is really hard to take to restaurants (hey, no judgment, you do you!), you're gonna love this festival going down Sunday. Between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. get 100% guilt-free comfort foods, craft brews, wine and a full lineup of international vendors. 

$20 tickets are available at the door and online with food and drinks sold separately. So bring some cash! You're going to want to try all these delicious (and healthy!) goodies!
