If there's one thing for certain, it's that New Yorkers love free art.
And come April 2016, they will have even more reasons to love public art, as Capsouto Park in TriBeCa will soon be home to three enormous, colorful arrows entitled, "Diana", after the Roman goddess of hunt.
These massive arrows, measuring nearly 22 feet tall, 15 feet tall, and 9 feet tall, were created by Upper West Side artist Curtis Wallin.
"It's as though 'Diana' herself shot those arrows, and now, many, many years later, they've landed in the park," Wallin said.
“I’m praying for a good snow storm after they’re up and you see the whole world in white,” the artist added, with a laugh.
