For many New Yorkers, Times Square represents everything worth avoiding in the City. 

The majority of Manhattanites will do what they can to circumvent the absurdity going on around there.

It's not that we don't appreciate having what many consider the "center of the world" right in our backyard, we just don't want to fight our way through the crowds of people staring upwards for-- to us, at least --appears to be no reason. 

So local film maker and photographer Michael Tapp put together a short video in Times Square, documenting some of the insanity and asking people what they love about it so much.

Do you love Times Square as much as these people? Would you ever have thought that people would give him these answers?
