Do you have plans this weekend?

You may want to cancel them because your weekend could get a little bit more... cheesy. There's a pretty cheesy pun we could use... oh wait. There it is.

That's right, the Great Northeast Cheese Fest is happening in Queens this weekend, courtesy of NY Epicurean Events

More than 30 of the Northeast's most talented artisan creameries will be in attendance (including local favorite Vulto Creamery from Walton, NY).

Some of the city's top chefs (including Michelin-starred chef, Hugue Dufour, of M. Wells Steakhouse and Will Horowitz of Ducks Eatery/Harry & Ida's) will be preparing dishes spotlighting...cheese (what else?).

Of course, you can't have cheese without some tasty beverages, including wine and ciders from New York State.

Tickets for general admission cost $60 and includes tastes of cheese, chef's bites, and alcohol. VIP tickets will cost $150 and includes demonstrations and information sessions about cheese.

If you are anything like us and have an abiding love/weakness for wine and cheese, we'll see you there.
