Can we get a collective finally? Going back to work this week after Thanksgiving wasn't easy, and we know all too well the woes of having too-tight clothes.
Still, we've got to keep on keepin' on. We've got to keep on fighting the good fight.
That means going as hard as we possibly can this weekend.
Now, going hard means something different to everyone. For some, going hard means tossing back beers before a holiday lights tour. For others, going hard means eating a ton at the Williamsburg Bites: Food Tour. You know, in memory of Thanksgiving.
For others, going hard means eating free pancakes and laughing at the free comedy at Rock 'n Shop.

You wouldn't be surprised if we told you NYC goes all out when it comes to igniting sparkling lights all over the city for the holidays, would you?
We didn't think you would.
So you're in this city that's lit up like, well, a Christmas tree, and you've got to get out and see it, right? We have a hot plan for a weekend excursion that'd ensure you do just that.
The Holiday Lights/Sights Midtown Mobile Tour, which starts at the Playwright Irish Pub at 7 p.m. on Friday, December 4th will tour you through NYC's most dazzling holiday spots, while two channels of holiday tunes bump through your headphones.

Great! Then you should probably make sure you're at ATARAXIA : nexxxt on Friday, December 4th from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.
Well, you don't have to stay until 4 a.m. unless you want to. We doubt you'll want to leave early, though, based on what's going down between those hours.
The whole thing, curated by Kurt Ritta & Rachel Eisley, features interactive environments, mixed media installations, photography, video projections, drawing, sculpture, performance art and scoundscapes by 20 visual and performing artists based in NYC.
The question isn't, do you want to go? The question is, can you handle all this enlightenment?

Saturday, December 5th
3. Draper Won't Stop (175 Walnut Street - Bronx)
This is the event of the weekend, the event of the month, the event of the year, even. What we're saying is you need to make sure you're there.
This is what's going down: Harlem's own Ron Draper is teaming up with The Culture LP to bring you "Draper Won't Stop". On Saturday, December 5th Ron Draper will present a brand new exhibition, inspired by all your favorite Bad Boy music videos.
You know the music videos we're talking about. The extravagant ones, directed by Hype Williams, featuring outlandish outfits and plenty of champagne. In a climate where gentrification is somehow running unchecked in the South Bronx, this is a welcome, absolutely bumpin' change of pace.

4. Williamsburg Bites: Brooklyn Food Tour (166 North 7th Street - Brooklyn)
Everyone loves food, right? We agree. We're totally in love with food, too.
That's why we thought it might be cool for you to spend your Saturday bouncing around Brooklyn's hippest neighborhood, eating like the most seasoned (pun ... intended?) foodie in that town.
On the Williamsburg Bites: Brooklyn Food Tour you'll visit top joints like Odd Fellows, Pies 'N' Thighs, The Bagel Store, Best Pizza, Momofuku Milk Bar, and Mast Brothers Chocolate for dessert.

Quiet clubbing: it's a phenomenon that's been sweeping the city. Imagine this: A packed and sweaty dance floor, people completely vibing out to the music in their heads, people bumping and jumping up and down, and yet it's entirely quiet.
Then, you put your own headphones on and the entire place erupts in song. Yeah, it's incredible.
Want some sort of tough news? This Saturday is your last shot to take part. Well, at least, it's your last shot to take part in a quiet clubbing part in the sprawling mega club called Pacha, which is set to close its doors in January.

If you want to spend your Sunday breathless from sprinting around the city, laughing, and solving tough clues and challenges, you should probably take part in the Amazing Holiday Scavenger Hunt.
You've got to download the ScanQuest app in advance, team up, and get ready for an urban obstacle course that will test both your physical and mental skills.

This has got to be the best idea for Sunday funday we've ever heard. There's a free comedy show at noon, because, why not? Who ever said comedy shows had to be at night?
There are free pancakes from 10 a.m. to noon, there's free music all day long, and there are also more than 40 vendors. Getting a head start on your holiday shopping never looked so good.
