Have you ever wondered about your New York City neighborhood's economy? 

You know, like how healthy or poorly it's doing when it comes to community, income, education, employment-- i.e., all that important "stuff." 

Well, a non-profit organization called Association for Neighborhood and Housing Development (ANDH) illustrates exactly all of that and then some in the interactive, informational map below. 

“It allows people to see that problems they might be having in their neighborhood are not exclusive to their neighborhood,” says Lena Afridi, who led the work as policy coordinator for equitable economic development at ANHD.

“This map also allows people to consider comprehensive economic development programs that are citywide.

There’s more of a movement push when the visualization is available.”
