It sure is shaping up to be one busy holiday month in New York City, eh?
The annual tree lighting ceremony for the Washington Square Park Christmas Tree (which is hosted by local organization, Washington Square Association) will take place on Wednesday, December 9th at 6 p.m. sharp.
The tree actually arrives in NYC this Monday, November 30th and will be hoisted into place at approximately 4 a.m., as it arrives on a truck all the way from Vermont.
There will also be two caroling events under the world famous arch: Wednesday, December 9th at 6 p.m. (as the tree is first lit) and Thursday, December 24th at 5 p.m.
Seriously, are you ready for all of the NYC holiday madness that December is sure to be chock full of, New Yorkers?
(P.S., don't feel bad, with this recent mild weather, we definitely aren't either-- but work with us on all this holiday goodness for now, will ya?)
