A Whole Lotta Deliciousness: 7 Best Spots for French Toast in NYC

Were just going to come out and say it. Being the middle child is tough. And French toast is most definitely the middle child of the breakfast family. Hear us out.

Waffles are certainly the oldest child. They're bold and self-confident. They don't need all the bells and whistles because they grew up with out them. They're also not always around, but that's okay.

Pancakes are most definitely the babies in the family. They're always around. Like always, whether you want them for breakfast or not, they're there. They can also be dolled up with chocolate chips or fruit or nuts or flavorings. Theres literally no rules when it comes to pancakes.

French toast is the middle child of the breakfast family.

It's there, but no one really notices. It's sweet, follows a pretty extreme set of rules (unlike pancakes... ehem), and is rarely appreciated for it's flavor and beauty. But we appreciate French toast. It's day in the limelight has finally arrived.

French toast is alluring, mysterious, and just downright perfect. And to celebrate it, we've gathered together those restaurants who understand and appreciate the value of the middle child of the breakfast family: the lovely, French toast.
