It looks like retailers aren't the only one getting in on all of the Black Friday deals out there. 

Because New Yorkers simply can't get enough of these friendly felines, the East 92nd Street location of the ASPCA is waiving adoption fees for all of its cats and kittens as part of its "Fifth Annual Cat Friday."

“The ASPCA is hoping that folks will choose to adopt, and not shop today,” said Mallory Kerley of the ASPCA.

“For all of our adopters that adopt a cat over the age of 1, we’re also sending them home with a free hard carrier,” Kerley said. 

“But all of our adopters will go home today with a free collar, ID, and all of our animals are spayed and neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.”
