Whether you pop it out after a bad breakup, or because you're celebrating a new job, ice cream has been the go-to emotional snack that's stood as the permanent fixture in the frozen treats market. 

Brooklyn's beloved ice creamery, Ample Hills, is looking to cement itself as a NY based ice cream giant. 

With the help of investors, Ample Hills received $4 million to go towards building a new "interactive" production facility in Brooklyn, as well as expanding stores in new locations. 

Investors included Charlie O'Donnell of Brooklyn Bridge Ventures (who spearheaded the fundraiser for Ample Hills), founders of Seamless, and Tom Potter (co-founder of Brooklyn Brewery). 

As a kid, co-founder Brian Smith grew up near Disney World, which inspired him to create this "interactive" facility where you can "play in it."

What exactly the "interactive" portion of the facility will include is yet to be announced, but we're pretty sure, whatever it is, it's going to be deliciously entertaining.
