Yesterday, New York City continued its outpouring of support for France and its victims who were killed in Paris on Friday night. 

Mayor de Blasio, French Ambassador Gerard Araud, Consulate General Bertrand Lortholary, Council Speaker Melissa-Mark-Viverito, and thousands of New Yorkers were in Washington Square Park yesterday to honor those who died in the Paris terrorist attacks. 

"Our city knows this pain. We know Paris will persevere. We know we'll be strong together... The only answer to terrorism is to be resolute to not allow the terrorists to change who we are. We must refuse to be terrorized. We won’t change our democracy. We won’t change our values." 

Vive la France. We stand with you as always, and support you during these troubling times.
