Though they're nowhere near as ubiquitous as the New York City slice of pizza, cheap dumplings are definitely on the City's list of go-to foods, whether it's for lunch or a drunken late-night snack. 

Because Prosperity Dumpling should now be off the list of places you'll ever go to again, we assembled a list of Chinatown's best dumpling spots, but that was only Chinese dumplings in Manhattan.

This Saturday, Tibetan dumplings are getting their shine with the fourth annual 'Momo Crawl' going down in Jackson Heights from 2 p.m to 5 p.m.

And this isn't your average crawl-- it's been bonkers in the past, with around 40 people lined up outside of each participating dumpling house in Queens. 

The plan is to meet up with momo-gatekeeper and wizard of the crawl, Jeff Orlick, in Diversity Plaza at 37th Road and 73rd Street and hand him one bill of American paper money. A dollar bill, a hundred, whatever you want. Just one bill, though, no change. 

He'll give you a secret map marking participating eateries, and from there, each momo is $1. But really, you may be able to tell who's hawking dumplings by the crowd outside. At 5 p.m., the crowd decides who had the best momo.

The supreme momo-makers win the prestigious, hand-sculpted momo trophy; a golden dumpling atop a mountain, like those in Tibet. 

It's definitely one of the cooler grass-roots operations of the "crawl" type here in NYC, and it has the endorsement of scores of momo-satisfied ladies and gentlemen around the City. Check out the footage below from last year's crawl.
