One of everybody's favorite Brooklyn restaurants, Roberta's in Williamsburg, opened a pop-up spot at 432 Humboldt Street, Brooklyn (corner of Humboldt & Jackson) last Friday, November 6th, and it's running through the 15th. 

They have a limited menu, and everything is first come first serve, often leaving hungry pop-up seekers SOL if they arrive more than an hour and a half after the spot opens at 5 p.m. 

The main affair at Roberta's Kitchen Takeover is the square pan pizza, and it's by most accounts a great pie, though very different from NYC's traditional thin crust Neapolitan style.

Something like your usual Sicilian pizza affair, these square pies are notably fluffier and buttery, making for a different flavor foundation for any toppings you might want.

Now if you'd like to check out the pop up, you should know that reservations are only required for parties of six or more, and we should reiterate they close as soon as supplies run out which has been soon. 

The pizza selection is definitely unique, but some of their main restaurant's tried and true menu items are some of the most popular at the pop-up.

Like the "The Bee Sting," which goes for $17 in pan form, is topped with honey and soppressata, an italian dry salami. 

"The Speckenwolf" also comes highly recommended, with speck (a type of prosciutto), earth mushrooms and red onion.

Chances are, they're all good. It opens at 5 p.m., so now the only question is can you get there fast enough to pick some up?
