Perked Up & Plugged in: 7 Fantastic Coffee Shops in Queens That Actually Have WiFi

The sun is up and the promise of a new day lies ahead. The aroma of fresh coffee lingers in the air as you make your way into a random coffee shop in Queens.

Honestly, you can almost taste it. And finally the golden moment arrives, you purchase that first sweet cup of coffee of the day.

Until seconds later, to your dismay, you experience the dreadful feeling of having absolutely zero WiFi.

How can this be? In this day and age? You cringe and search desperately for an outlet, but alas, no signs of connection in sight!

We know this feeling all too well. We've definitely been there more than once. As Earth-shattering as it may seem, no, not every coffee shop has WiFi.  Not to worry though, we’ve got the plug!

For those of you in Queens whose working and studying thrive in coffee shops, here are 7 fantastic coffee shops that actually have WiFi.

1. Astoria Coffee (30-04 30th Street)

Astoria Coffee is a nice little coffee shop that shines with an ultra vibrant atmosphere, located one block away from the 30th Avenue subway stop on the N/Q.

Aside from serving stellar coffee, and offering free WiFi, the modern design of the place is more than a little aesthetically pleasing. The ambiance is comforting and chill. You can just sit by the window and watch the world go by, or, you know, be productive.

We recommend their creamy cappuccino, matcha latte, iced coffee and croissants. Overall, the space is clean and quiet, so you can disconnect from the rest of the world and work or study in peace.

Cafe 1 of a Kind is truly one of a kind! Situated on Northern Blvd, this space has a very earthy feel plus, they have a lovely patio in the back.

Their WiFi connectivity is pretty solid and there's even a parking lot. Apart from being a quiet sanctuary to simply unwind and get down to business, it is also a really cute spot for a brunch date.

They offer tasty dishes like the smoked salmon egg benedict or the delicious bulgogi wrap. Some of our favorite latte flavors include the pumpkin spice, vanilla, hazelnut and green tea. They also give you complimentary chips with your meal which in our books is a win.

3. Presso Coffee (133-42 39th Avenue)

They even have decorative pillows in the back so you can sit on the floor if you want to, and sometimes, that's just what you need.
