It's the freakin' weekend baby we're about to have some fun.
Or, at least, that's what we'll be saying as soon as it becomes the weekend. We, too, are counting down the seconds until that ecstatic surge of energy when the clock ticks to 6 p.m. on Friday.
Here's our main question though: What are you doing this weekend?
Or, isn't it much more fun to anticipate the sunny, glorious arrival of the weekend if you've got dope events to look forward to?
We certainly think so. We'd love to anticipate the arrival of an art exhibition and wine tasting in our calendars, or some good old quiet clubbing, or, why not, an electronic club night.
Our point is, it's time to lock down your weekend shenanigans. We've roamed the solar system to find the hottest events popping off this weekend, and we'd be delighted to bring them to you now.

Friday, November 6th
1. Live Art Exhibition + Wine Tasting (55 Murray Street)

Are you craving the sort of creative, like-minded soul that would like nothing better on a Friday evening than sampling different types of wine and activating their creative energies?
Then, we have excellent news for you. At the Tribeca Art Factory, a social experiment gone right, Friday night will be popping off with a wine tasting and a live art exhibition.
If you come, you'll be immediately inundated into the vibrant, welcoming environment. Plus, you don't have to be the Albert Einstein of art to understand what's going on. You don't have to be Da Vinci or Kahlo either. You just have to be yourself!
The event includes wines and nibbles. So come, relax, eat, drink, and be merry. Then, watch as art is created right before your eyes! It's going down at 8 p.m. on Friday. Grab tickets here.
2. Electronic Club Night with Stephen Fasano (125 East 11th Street)
Stephen Fasano is a magician and mystical DJ who's been hurtled across the universe to entertain us. He'll be raising the roof at Webster Hall on Friday as he plays a pulsating, off-the-chain set.
There will be four floors slamming with tunes. You'll be pumping your fists, screaming your head off, and dancing, wildly, all night long. Does that sound good to you?
Yeah, we agree. If all you want for Friday night is to get wild, get crazy, and dance your night away, we're pretty sure your plans have just been found.
Seriously, grab your crew and get tickets to this event. Then you'll spend your whole night pouring drinks down each other's throats and dancing your faces off. The night kicks off at 10 p.m. at Webster Hall. Get tickets here.
3. VIP at Gansevoort (420 Park Avenue South)
Complimentary drinks and table service? Sign us up.
Here's what we think about the situation this weekend. Gansevoort Park in Gramercy is one of the most ecstatic places in the city to party this weekend. The views are epic, the cocktails are specially crafted, and the crowd is killer.
The main problem? Well, word has gotten out about the fabulousness of this rooftop bar. So the lines are killer, in a bad way.
We think life is too short to wait in lines. We also think you deserve special treatment. Why should you be going up to the bar to order every time you want a new drink? How about getting drinks brought to you all night long?
With Gansevoort Park's VIP Package, you'll get complimentary drinks at a hosted table. The deal starts at 10:30 p.m. on Friday, and we think it's the stellar way for you to spend your evening. Get your tickets here.
Saturday, November 7th

The party will be in full rage, but to join, you've got to slip on a pair of headphones From their, you'll be able to kick it as three talented DJs spin the world's hottest party tunes. They'll be bumping everything from 80s to EDM, and you'll find yourself completely sweaty and out of breath from dancing so hard.

7. Comic Strip Live Comedy Showcase (1568 2nd Avenue)
gy312 I'll be telling a few jokes tonight at #ComicStripLive. If you're free, pop out. Show starts at 6:30pm.
Do you love laughing? Of course you do. Who doesn't?
We can't think of a better way to spend a Sunday funday than by laughing your guts out. Okay, well, we hope your guts stay in your stomach, but we still think you should go to the Upper East Side's Comic Strip Live Comedy Showcase on Sunday.
Comic Strip Live is the oldest comedy showcase in the city. They've been making people gasp for air from laughing so hard for decades. The only question is, will you be able to keep yourself from peeing in your pants?
There's a two-drink minimum, so, like we said, Sunday Funday. Tickets cost $10, and you can snag them here.
8. The National Acrobats of the People's Republic of China (250 Bedford Park - Bronx)
lehmancuny They're setting up #LehmanCenter for #VH1 Super Bowl Blitz w/ #JanelleMonae #CUNY #Bronx #SuperBowl
How about you spend your Sunday being absolutely, completely wowed? Yeah, we thought that sounded like a dope plan too.
The Lehmen Center for the Performing Arts in the Bronx will be hosting on a breathtaking show, put on by the National Acrobats of the People's Republic of China.
They'll be accomplishing extraordinary circus skills onstage, combined with acrobatics, and Peking Opera. In other words, they tell a story while simultaneously treating theatergoers to a glimpse of China's history and tradition.
If you're in the mood to be completely amazed by juggling, contortion, and balancing, plus immersive storying, theatre and circus, this sounds like your scene.
The result will be somewhere between the scene in Ocean's 11 where they find their "greaseman", AKA The Amazing Yen ("He is the list"), and Knocked Up where Paul Rudd and Seth Rogen have a bad trip ("Don't applaud, he'll fall!"). Something like that. Get your tickets here.
