When you live in New York City, you get used to just about everything.
We're desensitized to people smoking cigarettes on the subway, all sorts of people squeezing themselves into spandex, and absurdly private cell phone conversations conducted in public spaces.
So when we heard that someone looked out their window expecting to see the Hudson River, and instead saw a clothes-less woman with blue hair dancing on top of a building, we were certainly entertained-- but not entirely surprised.
The woman was dancing for a photoshoot, and she's sort of killin' it.
Plus, the river actually does look really nice in the background, especially since there's some sort of steam liner gliding across the shot, and a motorboat whizzing past in realtime.
All we can say is, the video below basically proves that in NYC, anything can, in fact, happen. It proves that we can't expect birthday suits to be relegated to our apartments, despite our dearest hopes they would be.

If anyone in NYC has ever peered out their window to a stranger sight, we haven't heard about it yet.
P.S., the model and photographer have since identified themselves as Nellie Blue and Reka Nyari, after the video's gotten more than 300,000 views on Vimeo.
