If you thought it was funny back in 2007 when Sports Authority printed up 15,000 Chicago Bears Superbowl Champion tees, just before they lost to the Colts, then you're going to love this...

New York City got really excited over the last couple of weeks, as it looked like the Mets had a good chance of taking the World Series. It was a good effort, but the Kansas City Royals swiped it out from under them, and 2015 turned out to be just another year that the Mets let us down. 

That being said, when the Mets took the pennant, one fan got really excited. Too excited.

During the first game of the series, a guy going by the handle @JDeezal on Twitter, or Josh Davis in real-life, decided it was a foregone conclusion that the Mets would reign supreme in 2015-- so he went out and got their logo inked with the words, "World Champs 2015."

Now, hindsight is always 20/20 so we can't rag on this guy too much, but maybe he should have started with the logo and added the text if they won? 

For now, Davis hasn't done anything to change the piece. 

From a tattooist perspective, it's a well-done piece of art, so he's got that going for him. Plus, it's on his ribs which must have been painful, but at least it's not on his forehead or something, right?

So yeah, he's stuck with this tattoo-- for now.

But, he could always just get the whole thing covered up with a Pizza Rat tattoo, as those don't seem to be as regrettable as what he's got going on right now. What would your solution be?
